''Life and Live'' is a live album by Xiu Xiu. It was released on Italian record label Xeng less than a month before the release of La Forêt in the United States. ''Life and Live'' consists of Xiu Xiu songs that front man Jamie Stewart rendered live into acoustic guitar and vocal compositions. Tracks 3,4,8-13 appear on the 2003 release ''Fag Patrol'', So in effect, this compilation contains all the tracks from Fag Patrol (except for an alternative version of "Asleep"), albeit in a different order.
